- your hair is dark blonde to black (melanin is the target),
- you want the area permanently smooth and can plan for 8 to 12 appointments over one to two years,
- you can skip waxing and epilating for four weeks before your session,
- you have skin type I to VI: Alexandrit for light to medium skin, Nd:YAG for dark and tanned skin.
Waxing or sugaring is right for you if
- your hair is grey, white or red, because no laser works without melanin,
- you just want to be smooth for a one-off, like before a holiday,
- you're currently pregnant or taking light-sensitising medication,
- you're freshly tanned and don't want an Nd:YAG treatment.
