If you're looking for laser hair removal in Berlin, you'll be offered four technologies that work very differently. IPL isn't a laser, but a flashlamp with a broad light spectrum, and is mostly used in beauty salons. Diode lasers with 808 nm are cheap to buy and widely used. Alexandrit (755 nm) and Nd:YAG (1064 nm) are the two wavelengths that have been tested the longest in studies and medical practice: Alexandrit for light to medium skin with dark hair, Nd:YAG for dark and tanned skin.
