You can get your underarms done in beauty salons from around 40 € per session, in dermatology clinics based on medical fee schedules from 90 €, and at some institutes, a single session costs over 150 €. On top of that, package discounts, special offers, flat rates and minimum contract terms make it hard to compare. Berlin has the most crowded market for laser hair removal in Germany: beauty salons with diode lasers, chains using IPL, dermatology clinics charging from around 90 € per session according to the medical fee schedule, and a few studios with Alexandrit and Nd:YAG lasers. The price range for the same zone goes from under 40 € to over 150 € per session. Single session or package: what pays off in Berlin

The laser only works on hair in the growth phase, which is about 20 to 30 percent at any one time, depending on the area. That's why practically every area needs six to ten sessions. If you only book single sessions, you'll end up paying almost twice as much as you would with a 10-pack. Take underarms, for example: ten single sessions cost 690 €, while the 10-pack is 380 €. For full legs, it's 3.090 € versus 1.700 €.

All packages are valid for 24 months across all Laserazor studios. How prices in Berlin are set

Three factors explain almost all the price differences between providers in Berlin.

The equipment

An IPL device costs a fraction of a medical Alexandrit and Nd:YAG laser to buy. Studios using IPL or basic diode lasers can therefore offer very low session prices, but they usually need more sessions and often see no results on dark skin or fine hair. In Berlin, we work with Lutronic Clarity II (Alexandrit 755 nm and Nd:YAG 1064 nm) and DEKA Again Pro, class IIb medical devices with external Cryo cooling.

Billing

Dermatologists charge based on the medical fee schedule. Depending on the area and the multiplier used, prices start at around 90 € per session, often without package discounts. Studios work with fixed prices per area and offer packages. Over ten sessions, the difference can easily add up to several hundred euros per area.

The team

Since 2021, the NiSV requires certified expertise for anyone performing laser hair removal. Studios that take this seriously train their teams accordingly. It's an investment, but it's essential for using safe energy levels that actually get results.

Five hidden costs you need to know

• Prices per mini-zone: "Underarms from 19 €" sometimes means just one underarm or a few square centimetres. Always ask for the price of the full area.
• Promo prices just for the first session: After that, you pay the regular price, often without any package discount.
• Subscriptions with minimum terms: Monthly fees over 12 or 24 months really add up, even if you've long since finished your sessions.
• Expiring packages: Some packages expire after 6 or 12 months. Ours are valid for 24 months, and you can use your sessions at any studio.
• Consultation fees: A consultation and skin type check should be part of the treatment. With us, they're included in your 0 € trial session.
