Planning your course: how often you'll visit Unterbilk
A course of treatments consists of 8 to 12 sessions per area at intervals of six to eight weeks; it takes around one to one and a half years and means a trip to the studio roughly every two months.
This means: if you're coming from Köln, you'll travel to Düsseldorf around eight to twelve times for a full course. From Neuss, Hilden or Duisburg, the journey is short; from Dortmund or Aachen, it's much longer. If you're having multiple areas treated, you can do them in the same appointment. The number of trips stays the same, but the appointment will just take longer: underarms take around 10 minutes, full intimate area around 15 minutes, full back around 40 minutes and full legs around 45 minutes.
| Item | Example journey from Köln |
|---|---|
| Train from Köln Hbf to Düsseldorf Hbf | RE1, RE5 or ICE, 22 to 30 minutes, shorter with the ICE |
| Continue to the studio | Tram 708 or 709 to Graf-Adolf-Platz, then about a five-minute walk |
| Alternative by car | about 40 to 50 minutes via the A57 or A3 without traffic, parking in the Tiefgarage Friedrichstraße or Parkhaus Talstraße |
| Appointment | for example, underarms + full intimate area, about 15 minutes |
| Interval | six to eight weeks, so about every two months |
| Trips for the series | 8 to 12, spread over about one to one and a half years |
Purchased packages of 3, 5 or 10 sessions are valid for 24 months across all studios. Laserazor operates seven studios in five cities: Berlin Pestalozzistraße 13 and Danckelmannstraße 24, München Steinstraße 57 and Westendstraße 142, Augsburg Unter dem Bogen 2, Hamburg Poststraße 36, and from January 2027, Düsseldorf Elisabethstraße 30. If you're often in Berlin, München, Augsburg or Hamburg for work, you can book individual sessions there. You can find out what a series costs in our guide Laser-Haarentfernung Düsseldorf: Preise.
Tips for scheduling your appointments
With a little planning, the series fits easily into your everyday life. These points will help ensure you don't miss an appointment and every trip is worth it.
- Book your next appointment right away. Schedule your next appointment at the end of your session, six to eight weeks later. This keeps up the rhythm your hair roots need.
- Factor in sun and holidays. Keep the treatment area out of the sun for two weeks before each session, and use SPF 50 for two weeks afterwards. That's why you should plan your holidays between appointments.
- Shave beforehand, no creams on the day. Shave the area 12 to 24 hours beforehand, and don't apply any creams or deodorant on the day itself. If you're travelling from further away, shave the night before.
- No sport afterwards. No sport, sauna, or sun on the day of your treatment. Plan your workout for another day.
- Keep major events in mind. During Carnival and big trade fairs, trains and roads are much busier. Allow extra time for your journey or schedule your appointment for a different day.
- Check before you travel. Roadworks and diversions can change your route. A quick check of the VRR journey planner in the morning saves waiting around.
- Bundle your areas. Treating multiple areas in one appointment saves you trips. Combo packages like underarms + full intimate area are also cheaper than booking the areas individually.
