From the Niederrhein: Neuss, Meerbusch, Krefeld, Mönchengladbach
The Niederrhein is closest to Düsseldorf: From Neuss, the journey is so short that an appointment hardly needs more planning than one in your own city.
Neuss
With the S-Bahn or RE, you'll be at Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof in 10 to 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the U70, U74, U75 and U76 trams or buses, which take around 20 to 30 minutes. If your S-Bahn stops at Bilk station – which applies to the S8, S11 and S28 – change there to the Wehrhahnlinie towards Kirchplatz. Kirchplatz is about 200 metres from the studio.
Meerbusch
From Meerbusch, you can reach Düsseldorf in about 20 to 30 minutes by bus or the U70, U74, U75 or U76 trams. The Rheinbahn shows the network and routes in Düsseldorf. The timetable will show you which route is best for your area and where to change to the tram or Wehrhahnlinie.
Krefeld
The RE takes you from Krefeld Hbf to Düsseldorf Hbf in 25 to 35 minutes. From there, take tram 708 or 709 to Graf-Adolf-Platz and walk for about five minutes.
Mönchengladbach
From Mönchengladbach, it takes 25 to 35 minutes on the RE or S8 to get to Düsseldorf Hbf. If you're on the S8, you can change to the Wehrhahnlinie at Bahnhof Bilk instead of the main station and ride through to Kirchplatz.
From the Bergisches Land: Wuppertal, Solingen, Remscheid
Düsseldorf is easy to reach from the Bergisches Land, taking just 20 to 30 minutes on regional trains from Wuppertal and Solingen. Remscheid is connected via either of these two cities.
Wuppertal
The RE4 and S8 take 20 to 30 minutes from Wuppertal Hbf to Düsseldorf Hbf. The S8 also stops at Bahnhof Bilk, where you can change to the Wehrhahnlinie towards Kirchplatz. On the RE4, you travel to the main station and catch the 708 or 709 tram from there.
Solingen
The S1 takes around 20 to 30 minutes from Solingen Hbf to Düsseldorf Hbf. At the main station, you can catch the 708 or 709 tram to Graf-Adolf-Platz, or take a brisk 20-minute walk down Graf-Adolf-Straße.
Remscheid
From Remscheid, you travel via Solingen or Wuppertal and continue as described above. How long the whole journey takes depends on your starting point and the connection. It's worth checking the route before your first appointment so you know whether an after-work or weekend slot suits you best.
By car: Parking in Unterbilk
If you're driving from the Niederrhein or the Bergisches Land, the easiest place to park is the Friedrichstraße underground car park, about 150 metres from the studio, or the Talstraße multi-storey, around 300 metres away. Both charge a fee.

We don't give exact driving times for these cities because they depend too much on traffic. Leave yourself a buffer so you don't arrive stressed. If you're driving, it helps to keep an eye on the time: an appointment outside rush hour is often more relaxed, and parking costs hardly matter for a small zone like the underarms, which only takes about 10 minutes to treat.
Distances are rounded based on OpenStreetMap. The bus stops at the Herzogstraße stop right outside our door, and the south end of the Königsallee is about 400 metres away if you fancy heading into town after your appointment.
Commuting: Combining treatments with your journey to work
If you commute to work in Düsseldorf from the Niederrhein or the Bergisches Land, you can easily fit your sessions into your commute and save yourself an extra trip.
| You work | Route to the studio |
|---|---|
| at Hauptbahnhof | Tram 708 or 709 to Graf-Adolf-Platz, then about a five-minute walk |
| on Königsallee | from the south end of the Kö at Graf-Adolf-Platz around 400 metres, a good five-minute walk |
| in the Altstadt | a few minutes on the Wehrhahnlinie from Heinrich-Heine-Allee to Kirchplatz |
| in the Medienhafen or at the Rheinturm | about a 15-minute walk |
| at the Landtag | about a ten-minute walk |
| on an S-Bahn line via Bilk | at Bahnhof Bilk (S8, S11, S28) onto the Wehrhahnlinie towards Kirchplatz |
Small areas in particular fit easily into a workday: underarms take around 10 minutes, bikini line and upper lip also around 10 minutes, full intimate around 15 minutes. Full legs take around 45 minutes, so it's best to schedule those on a day with more free time. The opening hours for Düsseldorf will be announced before the launch. Then you'll know whether your appointment fits better before or after work.
A quick tip for your way home: sports, saunas, and sun on the treated area are off-limits on the day of your treatment. If you usually go to the gym after work, it's best to schedule your session for another day.
Planning your course: eight to twelve appointments in the calendar
A course at Laserazor consists of 8 to 12 sessions spaced six to eight weeks apart, taking around one to one and a half years in total. If you're travelling to us, it's best to plan them as a fixed series of appointments in your calendar.
A course is the sequence of all sessions for an area until the hair stops growing permanently¹. Because hair grows in cycles, each area needs multiple appointments at fixed intervals (Gan and Graber 2013).
- Join the waiting list. Sign up at Join the Düsseldorf waiting list. You'll be invited to book the first appointments in January 2027.
- Take advantage of the trial session. Skin type check, test pulses and one complete zone for 0 €, no purchase required, no subscription. After two to three weeks, the treated hairs will fall out, so you'll know exactly how your skin reacts.
- Bundle your zones. Treating two zones with a combo package saves you travel time. Underarms + full intimate area cost 119 € per session in a 10-session package, with both zones treated in a single appointment.
- Book your next appointment straight away. Schedule your next appointment at the end of each session, six to eight weeks later. You can reach our booking service on 030 310 13 860.
- Plan around summer and holidays. Keep the zone out of the sun and avoid fake tan for two weeks before each appointment. Tanned skin can be treated with Nd:YAG, but recent sun exposure still can't.
- Tick off your prep. No waxing, epilating or plucking for four weeks beforehand, shave 12 to 24 hours before, and don't apply any cream or deodorant to the zone on the day.
To see what travelling means over the course of a full series, just do the math for eight to twelve return trips: From Neuss, you're looking at around three to six hours just on the train. From Wuppertal or Solingen, it's about five to twelve hours, and from Krefeld or Mönchengladbach, roughly seven to fourteen hours. Plus the short walk from the main station to the studio each time.

A series of ten sessions at the 10-session rate costs 480 € for underarms, 860 € for the full intimate area, and 1.800 € for full legs. For total amounts over 300 €, you can choose to pay in 12 interest-free instalments at 0 %, or go for monthly payments with the VIP flat rate from 109 € a month. For comparison: Dermatology clinics charge according to the Gebührenordnung für Ärzte, usually around 90 to 150 € per session for underarms, often without any package discounts. All 31 zones are listed in the price list, and men's zones can be found under hair removal for men.
Locally or in Düsseldorf?
Whether you choose to have your treatments in your own city or in Düsseldorf is best decided using a few key criteria: NiSV certification, a specified wavelength, a skin type check with test pulses, and a clear price per complete zone.
The NiSV has applied nationwide since 31.12.2020, meaning it's just as relevant in Krefeld as it is in Wuppertal (NiSV). Anyone removing hair with a laser or IPL must have specialist certification. You can find out exactly what to look for in our guide NiSV in NRW: who is allowed to perform laser treatments, and weigh up the pros and cons of clinics versus studios in our guide Dermatologist or laser studio. If you're coming from Neuss or Meerbusch, or if you work in Düsseldorf anyway, there's a lot to be said for our studio in Unterbilk. But if you live in Remscheid and find a certified provider with the right technology nearby, the shorter journey is a genuine advantage.

¹ 'Permanent' means: after a complete series, no hair that the laser has reached will grow back in the treated zone. No laser can reach grey, white and very light hairs. Hormonal changes can trigger new growth, in which case a top-up session is usually enough.
This guide provides general information and doesn't replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Laser hair removal is a cosmetic procedure; if you have skin conditions, take medications that increase light sensitivity, are pregnant or have unexplained hair growth, it makes sense to get medical advice first.
